
Manufactured by Chance Foster in 1958. This is one of the first two trains made by Chance Foster for the Brookfield Zoo in Brookfield IL. It operated there until the 1960's when the zoo went to live steam. Includes a newly repainted engine, 3 operating cars, an additional car that can be rebuilt, and approximately 1/2 mile of track. The cars are modeled after the Durango & Silverton Railroads in Colorado with a total of (8) cars were produced by Chance Foster in this style. This train has been operated and well-maintained for over 30 years at the Wild West Town Amusement Park in Union IL. Please use photos to judge condition and bid accordingly.
