Only 1,257 Shelby GT 500 Fastbacks were built in 1969. This is a rare chance to own one of the most powerful, sought-after iconic 60's muscle cars ever made. Original build was on March 05, 1969, at Dearborn, Michigan as documented by an Elite Marti Report included with this car.


The Shelby invoice is also included showing the sale to Fergus Ford of Skokie, IL. The car has a fully restored exterior with digital photo restoration file and receipts included.


Color is T5 Candy Apple Red (Ford # 2008-A) with yellow/gold racing stripes. Original white interior with high back bucket seats. Factory roll bar has original Shelby 5-point inertia-reel racing harnesses. Carpeting and seats, dash pad and steering wheel are all original, thoroughly cleaned only. All other soft trim pieces, including door panels, headliner, windlace, and small trim have been replaced. The 428 Cobra Jet engine has new bearings, rings, camshaft, lifters, etc. Cylinder heads have received valve job. Original Holley 715 CFM carburetor and distributor are original, and have 100% correct numbers with original factory tags where applicable. All casting numbers are correct and all belts, hoses, filters, etc. are correct for the car.


Car has power steering, and power brakes (front disc). Original C-6 automatic transmission with cast iron tail shaft. Original 9 inch traction lock differential. Original 15" Shelby mag wheels with original Goodyear Polyglas GT G60-15 tires. 59494 original miles on the odometer. Overall, a real head-turner.
